Another classic from the same author as the The Thursday Murder Club books and it again delivers a funny story with an unexpected resolution. The characters are well written and all have their depths. I really hope one day he writes a book where the characters meet with the Thursday Murder Club, that would be epic!
I managed to read the first book in two weeks - it absolutely sucked me into the story. Since then I have read it a second time too. The best sci-fi book there is, it has so many layers and ideas which are revolutionary. One of the best two weeks of my life!
I have read this book in English, and I must say that despite me not being a native speaker, the book is very understandable, and I had a very good flow reading it. The book proved to be very interesting and opened up a whole new awareness of consciousness and mind-body connection. Its map of consciousness helps you to dive deeper into the energy fields and lets you better understand the level you might find yourself on. However, what I was missing is how to determine your level of consciousness - even tho you can do it through 'muscle testing', it's not easy and thus a generic tool would be helpful. Overall, I have learned a lot from this book but it wasn't definitive so I am eager to get to know more.
I had a bit different expectations from this book - while I thought it would be a nice introduction to the topic of Black Holes I was surprised by the book's complexity. From the beginning, it drops some mathematical bombs on you with a lot of theory. Still, I have learned a lot from this book - some chapters were easier and very interesting, and some were difficult. I would recommend this book to someone who already has knowledge about Black Holes and physics.
