This book is a lovely mixture between Boyfriend material- RWARB - If this gets out. If you like formula 1 and queer romance this is a definitely a must! I’ve read it one day, i couldn’t put it down!
I remember a year ago, standing in a bookstore, holding this book and. I started talking to this a girl about books, and she looked at the book in my hand and told me not to waste time with the story, because it wasn’t any good. I listened to her then, but I am glad I picked it up on Friday. Because this book reminded of that spark I feel when I read, it swallowed me up whole, and I am eternally grateful for it.
As I was purchasing it on Friday, I asked the booksellers at the till if they have read it, they said no, because they received the same reviews of the book as I did. I told them I will be back to tell them how it was. And I will keep this promise. Because magic like this needs to be shared.
This series is an emotional rollercoaster, my brain was sweating while reading it but in the most brilliant way ever! I have this book at home as paperback and hardback and regret nothing! So if you wish to be emotionally distressed by characters yet still blissfully cuddled with their near death escapes this a book is for you.

This books is very refreshing and honest story of every woman you know, story of friendship and desperate need for love. I live this book so so much and I urge everyone to read this!
This book is not for fainthearted! Why choose-dark-mafia romance which delivers a lot of violence and gore, but surprisingly also lots of sweet scenes. It made me laugh but at the moments this woman was left speechless. In the name of dark romance please check the trigger warnings and be prepared!!! I am not one to be easily shocked but boy oh boy, this book left me with mouth wide open.
Don’t look for very deep story, it is very straight forward, but the tension and suspension is chefs kiss.
If you are new to this genre this book is not the one to start with.
Overall I enjoyed this ride, i will be reading it again, although i am not sure what that says about my character lol.
I have devoured this book within two days. If you are looking for amazing writing book is not the place, but you will find amazing characters, fantasy world and slow burn with a cherry on top!
Enemies to lovers, slow burn, betrayal, who did this to you and so much more. I am well aware of all the flaws of this book but I have read it several times since and i know i will again.
Main character Poppy and her inner monologue is at times annoying but Hawke makes up for it. Second book is even better, because that is where you add forced proximity in the mix!
I would recommend this book to anyone who liked Twilight or Vampire diaries and was missing spice and fantasy world building.
Lovely story which I’ve finished in one day, couldn’t put it down. It wasn’t as sad as her other books byt it was beautiful. Strongly recommend, can’t wait for the sequel.
Iny styl rozpravania ako pri original trilogii, ale stale pecka! Villain origin je vzdy zaujimave citanie. Autorka rozprava velmi vlaznym tempom co nemusi byt pre kazdeho ale koniec stoji za to!
