what a book!!! i needed a book that will take me at least 6 days to read so i picked this one, lol nope bc i just coudlnt put it down whenever i would start reading it so it was done in two days. i think it was my fastest read and it also made me cry three times in fronf of my neighbours while I was reading on my balcony bc of how much i love scott!!!! WHAT A MAN.
and listen i hate going to gym, exercising etc. and this book is full of it and i still freaking loved it.

I did not like this book at all and I'm really sad about it bc I was expecting a lot since it was popular and also the cover is so pretty. I guess don't judge book by its cover is true after all. I really didn't like any of the characters and especially the main female character and I hate when that happens. After I had a talk with my friend I think there is just something I don't like about books written by men. They are always missing that special something or the story just doesn't feel good.
The things that made me don't like the book or just made me feel irritated:
- things keep repeating even tho they were already mentioned before, always asking same questions etc., feels like the story is not going anywhere
- didn't like Julie!!!! ALWAYS forgetting and canceling on people that cared about her
- Julie why the hell are you not worrying more about your phone not receiving texts and calls from other people, like what if something happened??????
- Julie you don't believe in shooting stars but you believe that you can talk to your dead boyfriend forever ?? cmon
- what happened with Oliver’s jacket after the fight ???!?!! missing explanation
- why did she think telling someone about those calls is a good idea?? where were the common sense thoughts like everyone is gonna think she is crazy ??!? (maybe I just don't like fantasy after all)
- the grammar mistakes ugh
- i was seriously irritated with her forgetting that the calls are not gonna last forever and that he is not alive but dead !!! like cmon it will never be like before Julie
- she cancels on her friend, then asks sam what he thinks about it, he tells her his opinion, smt she wasn't expecting him to say and suddenly she is like but this is my choice?!?! then why would you ask him in the first place jesus christ
- the book should be called bad decisions bc thats what it was, one bad decision after another
- the way her feelings suddenly change completely in the last chapter, like no explanation, nothing, it felt like we skipped a few months and chapters
- why would she only think about changing sim cards with his phone and not others ??!?
This was one of the worst books I have ever read, thank you very much.
i wish i could give this book 5 stars bc it was beautiful but it was missing something for me. but 4 stars nevertheless!!
the number of relatable quotes I marked in this book oh my god!! also, that one chapter at the end from his pov what a nice surprise, we love male pov!! all those little gestures made her fall for him and like him!!
academic rivals to lovers isn't on top of my list of fave book tropes but this one did it for me, amazing book
i still need to read some of CoHo books but it will need to be a really good book to change my mind about the fact that this is her best book. I LOVED IT!!! so easy to read, i forgot about the world around me. CoHo’s writing is so good that she made me like the character I was supposed to hate and vice versa.
I think I’m in love with Graham now, even tho there are so many hating on him, but I just couldn’t, not for a single moment. Thank you CoHo for another masterpiece!!
a little spoiler: it mentions a puppy so even if it wouldn't be a 5 stars read, it would still have 5 stars
this book made me cry on my balcony just bc i know men like this are only fictional.
and the only reason why im giving this book 4 and not 5 stars is (and i cant believe im saying this) that some smut scenes were too much for me, like to the point where it was so cringe i was thinking about skipping the smut?!?!?!
sometimes i hate the “not communicating enough” type of books, but not this one !!! I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! The smut was smutting, the dirty talk was dirty talking!! I mean I was so happy for them when they finally got to have sex, that speaks for itself and how good the pining was!! And let's be honest there is nothing I love more than a trope where one character cant see their worth and the other character is just there not giving up!!! I COULD CRY AND DIE FOR THAT !!
4,5/5
i couldn’t put this book down bc every time i would pick it up it felt like i was there in the book living next to the main characters. this book felt like a hug from a friend you thought you would never see again. i loved it. i was conflicted about which brother i would choose lol but i think Percy made the right choice. a lot of people hate the plot twist but not me, bc i saw it coming and i enjoyed it.
the only thing that makes me angry is that this book doesn't have Sam’s pov. bc if there ever was a book that needed it and deserved the male pov its this one.
idk how to feel about this one. mostly bc i wasn't left with any specific feeling after reading this book. i mostly had to convince myself to go and read it just so i could finish it finally. i don't think i like books written by men. its missing something (everything). I didn't like the way it was written but at the same time, i enjoyed the extra short chapters bc it was so easy to read. I’ve found myself skipping lines and that's never a good sign. but it did have some pretty nice quotes and thoughts so that's why those 2/5.
I'm in love with this book. and I wouldn't want any other book to be there for me during my reading slump bc once it got good, it got really good!! I loved the theme, trope whatever … two hot brothers, one nice, one hella grumpy and with problems with letting people and women in … uff yes, please. the relationship he ended up having with way oh my god I could cry and I don't even like kids in books. KNOX MORGAN YOU HAVE MY HEART (even tho you broke it once but I loved you anyway).
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS BOOK HANDS DOWN WERE THE NICKNAMES!!! I MEAN SJAKSJSKSJAK
what a book, wow. I had a little crying session after finishing it bc the last sentence just did things to my heart.
at the start I was so unsure about this book and how it's written, I wasn't annoyed with it but something was off. but then I just couldn't put the book down. I was using the book as a reward after doing things I actually needed to do and it was the best reward.
I really needed a book like this right now when it feels like my whole life is falling apart. the book is just so raw and real.
the part in the book when things started to go right
