I adore every page, word and sketch. This is a book for everyone. It doesn't matter if you are 8 or 80, just read it.
The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse have been shared millions of times online - perhaps you've seen them? They've also been recreated by children in schools and hung on hospital walls. They sometimes even appear on lamp posts and on cafe and bookshop windows.
Here, you will find them together in this book of Charlie's most-loved drawings, adventuring into the Wild and exploring the thoughts and feelings that unite us all.
I think everyone's life was crossed by some book or article on decluttering, getting organized, and living a more minimalist life. They've all helped in some way, but just like crash diets, they didn't lead to lasting weight loss.
I was thinking that The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo will be a different kind of self-help book.
I will say the book is somewhat repetitive and it makes the same point over and over (you have too much clutter and you’re keeping it for the wrong reasons).
Like yes, you will learn that you're better of tidying in one fell swoop rather than tidying up a little and then repeat this process, or that you should do a complete purge of everything you own, evaluating each on the basis of whether it sparks joy for you or not.
If you want to tide your home base on Marie Kondo philosophy go for it and read this book(I have also used some of her life-changing hacks) Or if you are happy with your housing do not bother to read it.
Druhý diel z kroník Narnie na mňa pôsobil veľmi milým prepracovaným dojmom s dôrazom na detajlnejšie opisy ako predchádzajúci diel. Kniha predstavuje 4 nových hrdinov ktorý sa v príbehu veľmi dobre rozvíjaju. V porovnaní s prvým dielom je druhý diel trochu viac zamotanejší. Táto kniha krásne nadväzuje na prvý príbeh a dotvára nám o Narnii skvelý obraz. Vrelo odporúčam.
Ide o chronologicky prvý diel Narnie ktorý vas oboznámi so vznikom daného sveta a predstavi čitateľovi fungovanie mágie v danom svete. Vrelo to odporúčam ako mladším tak aj starším milovníkom fantasi príbehov. Mna osobne táto kniha pohltila a vytvorila vo mne chuť pustiť sa do ďalších dielov séria a ďalej spolu s hrdinami príbehov objavovať svet Narnie.
