Angelika Taschen studied art history and German literature in Heidelberg, gaining her doctorats in 1986.
Working for TASCHEN since 1987, she has published numerous titles on architecture, photography, design, contemporary art, interlors, and travel.

India is a land full of love and devotion, made so by the intense religiosity and profound spirituality of the people who live there and by its ancient culture. When we travel through India with our eyes and our hearts open, we can feel this devotion and love in every detail, every encounter, every home, every temple and even in the smallest domestic altar, be it in a poor or wealthy household.
